## DELETE /api/v2/domains/{id}/glue-records/{hostname}

**Delete a glue record**

Delete a child nameserver host object by hostname. URL-encode the `hostname` path segment if your client does not handle dots or special characters automatically. This removes the registry glue object only; it does not delete DNS zone records and does not automatically change the domain nameserver set. If the host object is currently used as a nameserver, the registry rejects deletion; remove it from the domain nameserver set first with `POST /api/v2/domains/{id}/nameservers`, then delete the glue record.

### Parameters

- `hostname` (path, string, required): Child nameserver hostname returned by `GET /api/v2/domains/{id}/glue-records` as `glueRecords[].hostname`. This value must refer to a host object under the same domain. Example: `ns1.example.com`
- `id` (path, string, required): Public domain ID. Get it from GET /api/v2/domains `data[].id`. Do not invent this value; use the exact ID returned by the referenced API response. Example: `dom_01hxa3b4c5d6e7f8g9h0j1k2m3`
