## DELETE /api/v2/vps/{id}/disks/{diskName}

**Delete VPS disk**

Delete a VPS disk. Prefer passing the public `vpsdisk_...` ID returned by `GET /api/v2/vps/{id}/disks`; raw slot names are accepted only for compatibility. Optional query `keepVolume=true` preserves the underlying volume when supported.

### Parameters

- `keepVolume` (query, boolean): When true, detach/delete the VPS disk entry while preserving the underlying volume where the platform supports it. Example: `false`
- `id` (path, string, required): Public VPS ID. Get it from GET /api/v2/vps `data[].id`. Do not invent this value; use the exact ID returned by the referenced API response. Example: `vps_01hxa3b4c5d6e7f8g9h0j1k2m3`
- `diskName` (path, string, required): VPS disk device name returned by the disk list endpoint. Example: `scsi0`
